Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

Last revised: August 5, 2026

1. Application

  1. These terms govern the use of Symbol Stream Generator (the “Service”).
  2. By using the Service, the user agrees to these terms.

2. Service

The Service is a browser-based tool for generating and displaying motion graphics with symbols, vector shapes, and text. Features and presentation may change without notice.

3. Use of Generated Content

  1. Users may use, edit, and publish images, videos, and other output created with the Service for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
  2. Crediting the Service or its provider is optional.
  3. Users are responsible for ensuring that entered text, selected fonts, and generated content do not infringe the rights of third parties.

4. Data and Privacy

  1. Drawing and animation calculations are generally performed within the user's browser.
  2. When exporting MP4, the browser sends the generated video temporarily to this Service's Firebase Cloud Function for conversion. The converted video and temporary conversion files are not retained for storage.
  3. Loading local fonts requires permission from the user's browser. Font information is used to display font choices within that browser session.
  4. A shared settings URL contains entered text, selected font names, colors, and other configuration values. Anyone receiving the URL can view and restore those settings.
  5. The Service is not designed to collect or permanently store entered text, color settings, or generated content on behalf of the provider.
  6. When a settings URL is shared through an external service, that service's terms and privacy policy apply.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not violate laws or public order, interfere with operation of the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or infringe the rights of third parties.

6. Disclaimer

  1. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of fitness, completeness, or continuous availability.
  2. The provider is not liable for differences or failures caused by devices, browsers, fonts, display environments, or for damages arising from use of the Service.

7. Changes

The provider may modify these terms as needed. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
